Why televisits in rheumatology
Chronic inflammatory rheumatic diseases need regular check-ups over many years. Some of those check-ups are about confirming that the therapy works and is well tolerated, and they do not always require an in-person visit. For a patient with joint limitations, avoiding a journey matters.
What it offers
iAR connects rheumatologist and patient by video call, in an environment designed for handling health data. The platform covers four conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and SLE.

The project is endorsed by the Italian Society for Rheumatology. SIR is one of the scientific societies we work with, together with the Italian Melanoma Intergroup (IMI) and the Italian Sports Medicine Federation (FMSI).
