Virtual and augmented reality
At a congress or a residential course, virtual reality is useful for showing what words explain badly: the anatomy of a region, how a drug acts, the steps of a procedure. Augmented reality overlays the same information on a physical object or a printed image. We develop the content with the speakers, starting from what they want the audience to understand.
Multitouch tables and imaging
On a multitouch table several people can work on the same case at once: rotating a volume, comparing two scans, scrolling through a series. It suits multimodal biomedical imaging, where MR, CT and PET of the same patient are viewed side by side. The images are prepared by the team that handles imaging on our clinical platforms, working on files in their native format.
Streaming and teleconferencing
For hybrid or fully online events we use our own teleconferencing platform and a live streaming service. Owning the tool lets us adapt the interface to the event, add polls and audience voting, and manage registrations and attendance reports, which accredited CME events require. VIP in Touch, the multispecialty medical web TV we run, is an example of ongoing video production.
