The distance learning platform
An accredited distance course under the Italian ECM (CME) system has to do a few things rigorously: identify the participant, track attendance, deliver the learning assessment and the satisfaction survey, and issue the certificate. The provider must be able to prove each of these steps, and our platforms are built around them. Courses can also be followed on tablets and smartphones.
Clinical games and interactive cases
Recorded lectures have a well-known weakness: people half-watch them. To keep attention up we apply game mechanics to clinical practice. The participant works through a case, orders tests, sets the therapy and sees what follows from each choice. Timed quizzes, scores and leaderboards add an element of challenge. At live events the same tools become audience voting systems.
Content
We work with the scientific lead from the programme outline to the final material: module structure, text review, and assessment questions consistent with the learning objectives declared at accreditation. Our medical writing team looks after the literature.

VIP in Touch, our portal hosting accredited distance courses in ophthalmology, dermatology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology and pharmacy, counts more than 10,000 doctors, over 200,000 accesses and more than 300 CME credits.
