Listening to clinicians
A key message works when the people receiving it see it as relevant to their practice. The only way to find out is to ask doctors, in a setting where they feel free to say what does not add up. Our workshops are designed for that: small groups, a tight agenda, and a facilitator who keeps the discussion on topic and records every position, minority views included.
Formats
- Advisory boards: a few leading experts, one strategic question, a shared summary document.
- Expert meetings: technical discussion of a clinical topic, often in preparation for a consensus project or a publication.
- Focus groups: guided discussion with doctors from one specialty or region, to understand perceptions and needs.
- Brand reputation and key message workshops: structured work on existing messages, how they are read and what to change.
What remains after the meeting
Every meeting ends with a report: the positions that emerged, points of agreement and disagreement, practical recommendations. When the content allows, the material becomes the basis for a Delphi consensus or a scientific paper, handled by our medical writing team.
